Shipping Container Desiccant Bags

Moisture absorbing desiccant packs absorb water from the ambient air within shipping containers, reducing humidity levels and reducing the risk of damage to precious cargo caused by corrosion, mould, and damaged or defaced packaging or labelling. Our anti-moisture packs provide suitable dehumidification for all kinds of cargo, such as engine parts, steel coils, furniture, packaged food and goods. They can be used to protect cargo during transport in shipping containers or in storage areas such as warehouses, homes, garages and boats.

These high-performance and long-lasting desiccant bags contain a superior mixture of calcium chloride and starch capable of absorbing 200% of water by weight, outperforming silica or clay alternatives by upto 3x. The high absorption capacity means fewer units are necessary to keep cargo safe from air humidity. This provides cost savings as well as improving handling and application times. Our desiccants continue absorbing up to 40 days versus a standard 15 days.
